Dear Students,

The "Scarecrow Project" is designed to help you improve you creative scientific abilities. The "problem" of scaring birds away from the sawah, is an "opportunity" for us to have fun trying to help our neighbors. 

The design parameters/rules are that I have given are:

1. Demonstrate a Force over a distance.
2. Demonstrate an Energy Transfer.
3. Demonstrate that you have worked creatively to solve this problem.
4. Make something "cool" that will interest primary students.
5. Make a design that is re-useable. It cannot be only used once because the birds need scaring many, many times everyday.

Your grade will be based on the criteria above.

Native English Speaker:
1 Student  ~ 400,000/hour =  400,000/hour  (​Private)
2 Students ~ 600,000/hour = 300,000/hour per Student
3 Students ~ 750,000/hour = 250,000/hour per Student
4 Students ~ 800,000/hour = 200,000/hour per student

Native Indonesian Speaker:
1 Student  ~ 300,000/hour =  300,000/hour  (​Private)
2 Students ~ 400,000/hour = 200,000/hour per Student
3 Students ~ 525,000/hour = 175,000/hour per Student
4 Students ~ 600,000/hour = 150,000/hour per student
